    Join the Lion Parkson Charity Run 2018!

    Edit: Due to unforseen circumstances, the Lion Parkson Charity Run has been postponed to 30th September 2018 from the original date of 22nd April 2018. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

    Run for health and run for a cause! Join Parkson Credit as we participate in the annual Lion Parkson Run, organized by the Lion Parkson Foundation and co-co organized by the Lee Chong Wei Foundation, this time at 7.00 AM on the Sunday of 30th September 2018 and in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Choose between 3 KM and 10 KM runs. Kids above the age of 13 are invited too!

    Proceeds from the current and previous Annual Lion Parkson Runs will go towards the operation and development of the Lion Parkson Foundation's Education and Home for Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children in Banting.

    The Lion-Parkson Foundation was incorporated on 3 September 1985 to administer and disburse funds for education, scientific and charitable purposes. It was set up by the Lion Group of Companies with funds contributed by the Group’s operating companies and business associates during the Group’s fund-raising drives. Since its launch in 1990, the Foundation has contributed a total of RM34.9 million to various charitable causes.

    Our Presence In The North

    Ipoh, 19 March 2018 – Parkson Credit has just achieved another milestone by establishing its presence in the northern region. The office in Ipoh, Perak shall serve as the central backend operations hub which covers states such as Penang, Kedah and Perlis.

    Customers who wish to make payments for their instalments are encouraged to do so at Parkson Credit’s dedicated payment channels as the office only caters for backend and administrative operations specifically.

    Lawatan Sambil Belajar With KPDNKK

    On the 9th of March 2018, Parkson Credit hosted a delegation from the Persatuan Suri dan Anggota Wanita Perkidmatan Awam Malaysia (PUSPANITA) wing of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) on a ‘Lawatan Sambil Belajar’. The objective of PUSPANITA’s visit was to learn about Parkson Credit’s credit assessment operations and its activities under KPDNKK’s recently implemented Consumer Protection (Credit Sale) Act 2017.

    The PUSPANITA delegation of 30 women was led by KPDNKK’s Legal Director Datin Tay Lee Ly. During the visit, presentations were given by Parkson Credit’s management team. The event ended with catered lunch, a Hogan Bakery goodie bag for each member of the delegation and a ceremonial gift exchange.
