Parkson Credit marks its annual CSR tradition with a visit to the Selangor Home in Banting, supporting the special needs community through contributions and meaningful engagement.

5th December 2025 - As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, Parkson Credit recently organized its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) visit to the Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association Selangor (Selangor Home) in Banting. This yearly initiative aligns with our core values of compassion and community support, following the footsteps of the Lion-Parkson Foundation.

The visit provided our team with a meaningful opportunity to engage with the residents and understand the daily operations of the Home. Established by founder-president Mr. V. Rajamanikam, the home currently provides a sanctuary for a large number of special needs individuals. While the association is named for children, the home provides lifelong care for residents of various ages who require specialized support.

During the visit, Parkson Credit representatives handed over a contribution to the Home to assist with their substantial daily operating expenses and future expansion plans. The team also spent quality time mingling with the residents, bringing smiles and cheer to their day.

This facility holds a special significance for the Lion Group family. It was officially opened in 2012 by Tan Sri William Cheng and Puan Sri Chelsiah Cheng, alongside national badminton champion Datuk Lee Chong Wei. The Home, built on land donated by the Lion Group, stands as a testament to the power of corporate and public partnership in providing a comfortable environment for the less fortunate.

Parkson Credit is honored to contribute to this noble cause and will continue to support initiatives that improve the welfare of the special needs community.
