Lion-Parkson Foundation (LPF) launched the Lion Parkson Run 2018, which was held on 30th September 2018 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The run aimed to raise funds for education and charity, including the expansion of the Home for Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children in Banting, Selangor. The event, co-organized with the Lee Chong Wei Foundation, and sponsored by Parkson, Polo, Akemi, Hi-Rev lubricants, Hwa Tai, 988 FM, and Spritzer, targeted 5,000 participants. The run featured a 3km and 10km route, a 3km Family Run, and a special 1km Run for Cancer with waived fees for cancer patients and survivors. Proceeds from the 1km run went to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.
