Mr. Wan Adam Wins RM1,000 in Parkson Vouchers

On the 24th of December 2019, the first prize of the 'Count and Win' contest was handed out at the Lobby of the Lion Office Tower to the winner Mr. Wan Adam, who had won RM1,000.00 in Parkson Departmental Store cash vouchers. Also attending was GT-Max Manager Mr. X and Parkson Credit's Marketing Manager Ms. Michelle Wong.

The Count and Win contest was held in conjunction with the GT-Max Yamaha Customer Appreciation Day at their Shah Alam premises on 30th November 2019, where customers with a minimum purchase can participate to count the exact number of sweets in a box to stand a to win the grand prize of a brand-new Motorcycle. Mr. Wan Adam succeeded in getting the closest to the correct answer to win the Parkson Departmental Store cash vouchers.

64 Pints of Blood Collected During the Blood Donation Campaign!

Parkson Credit held a blood donation drive in partnership with Pusat Darah Negara with the theme "Be a Superhero! Donate Blood, Save a Life!" on the 16th December 2019 at the lobby of the Lion Office Tower. A total of six recliner beds were set up for the event.

Ms. Syafa of Parkson Credit HR Department, who is the organizing staff, reported that the response was encouraging and the beds were full throughout the five-hour event. Donors included Group employees at the Lion Office Tower, passers-by outside and even Parkson Credit employees from the office down the road. She was pleased to report that, as a total of 64 pints of blood were collected, the campaign had met PDN expectations and more campaigns can be organized at the same location in the future.

• Location: Lobby, Lion Office Tower, No. 1 Jalan Nagasari, 50200 Kuala Lumpur

Please note the general requirements for blood donation:

• You are in good health
• Aged between 17-70 for regular donors
• Aged between 17-60 for new donors
• Those aged 17 years old need to obtain written permission from parents/guardians
• Those aged 60 and above must provide a supporting Medical Report
• Weight at least 45KG
• Minimum 5 hours of sleep
• Free from any medical problem
• Have taken a meal prior to donation
• Interval of three months from your last donation
• For females; not pregnant, breastfeeding or having menstruation (Day 1-3)
• Have resided in Malaysia for at least 1 year (for non-Malaysians)
• Not involved in high risk lifestyle or activities (example: intravenous drug use, multiple sexual partners, men who have sex with men)
• Identification document available (IC/Passport)
